Design Brief
The goal of this project was to create an infographic about a topic of our choosing. The project began by doing ample research on the chosen topic, and to begin to create general icons and graphic elements that might be used on the poster down the road. I then began by completing a series of changes to create a visually pleasing and informative poster that sheds light on the impacts of coral bleaching.
Design Process
For this project, I began by researching all the data and information I could find on Coral bleaching and Reef decline. Throughout my research, I began to find common themes and ideas that I could begin to develop certain graphics that would be used to emphasize and highlight certain information that would end up on my poster. Once my research was complete and my fonts, colors, and graphics were selected I began to work on the layout and design of my poster. I went through many iterations to find which was the most aesthetically pleasing while also being the most informative.
