Design Brief
This project involved creating an infographic about the Colosseum, focusing on its history, architecture, and cultural significance. I developed custom icons and graphic elements inspired by Roman aesthetics to enhance visual storytelling. I refined the layout through multiple design iterations to ensure clarity and visual appeal. The final poster is tourist-friendly, delivering key facts in a glanceable format ideal for street signage.
Design Process
I began with in-depth research on the Colosseum’s history, architecture, and cultural relevance to build a strong foundation. From this, I identified key themes and details to translate into icons and visual elements. Guided by a Roman-inspired aesthetic, I established a cohesive color palette and typography. The layout underwent several iterations to achieve a clear, engaging balance between information and design, resulting in a poster that’s both educational and eye-catching for tourists.
